If the firmware update, your installation and storage files will lost, Please backup your files before update!

Step 1:
Select the FAT32 mode and Format the TF card

Step 2:
Copy the files (1 & gt; aml_autoscript 2 & gt; factory_update_param.aml 3 & gt; V5-m201-ota-20150128.V0823.zip 4 & gt; recovery.img 5 & gt; u-boot.bin 6 & gt; unlock_autoscript) to TF Card

Step 3:
Unplug the power, Insert the TF card to TV BOX's TF card reader

Step 4:
Plug in the power, Wait 20 seconds will start to update

Step 5:
When the TV BOX reboot, Please remove the TF Card (This step is very important!), And continue to waiting five minutes

Step 6:
The update will completed, Enjoy !!

if you just want to update the vigica box, you can power on the box firstly, then choose the local upgrade.


2. after update the firmware. You can get more details about new version

it is included more satellite and TP list. usually about all Europe and American satellite data.

if these satellite still cant meet your inquiry, you also can add the satellite by remote control. press the corresponding icon.


3. & nbsp;. The channel edit new version have 10 groups you can sort more fav channel list in the box for example as culture, news, movie, games, etc..

VIGICA V5 SMART TV BOX - FIRST IMPRESSIONS, FIRMWARE DETAILS AND TESTS

As I told you in this article, Vigica company send me a new Amlogic S805 Android TV Stick: Vigica V5. Here you'll find a photo gallery and a video with the unboxing of this nice device.


The TV box has a white plastic case, it is strong and well organized and all the connectorsare located in the back of it. The overall impression is pretty nice, the device looks to beconstructed with care to details. In the front side it has only the IR receiver and the panel for guiding ligths. Vigica V5 Smart TV Box was launched recently and is based on Amlogic S805 Quad core processor. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM and it runs Android KitKat 4.4.2.

The firmware and the launcher are generic for Amlogic Android devices, with big and nice tiles, like in Windows 8.1 Metro style. The 'Setting' menu gives you access to the settings shown in the same Metro-style with four sub menus: Network, Display, Advanced and Other.


The Network settings allow you to select Ethernet or Wi-Fi. The Display settings options: HDMI auto-detection resolution, HDMI output mode, hide or show the status bar, adjust the display position and screensaver. The Advanced menu will let you start Miracast, enable the software Remote control / Google TV Remote, adjust CEC control, set the screen orientation and select digital audio output (PCM, SPDIF pass-through, HDMI pass-through). The Other button will give some details about the Android version (4.4.2) and kernel version (3.10.33). There’s also an OTA System Update menu. You can access the standard Android settings by going through Setting->Other->More Settings.


There are a lot of preinstalled applications, including Play Store and Google applications (gapps). This firmware version has not root acces or the root acces is not properly configured. Vigica V5 Smart TV Box also supports Airplay and Miracast functions.

In Antutu Video Tester 2.2 Vigica V5 Smart TV Box scores an incredible 520 points. Amazingly, it played smoothly almost all video file types. In fact, it played with no problem 23 of 27 video formats included in the video benchmark. It is possible to fix this issue with a future firmware update. In Antutu Benchmark the device achieves a modest score, about 16.500 points.
